Coastal Path Walking tour
This day walk will take you along the South West Coastal Path and the Jurassic Coast.
Meet your guide at Swanage Pier. Your guide will take you on a memorable and exciting hike through some of Dorset’s most iconic landscapes. Along the Coastal Path Walking tour, you will experience the rugged Jurassic Coast, the unspoilt Dorset views, and get the chance to visit Dancing Ledge and others like it. You will also get the opportunity to stop at a famous pub in Worth Matravers, The Square and Compass – known for its cider and pasties! The hike will take around 6 hours, including rest breaks and time to take in the breathtaking scenery. It also includes an hour or so at the pub to rest and have a well-deserved drink.
We aim to be at the Square and Compass by 1 pm, which means you will be just in time for lunch and be able to indulge in some of their delicious pasties.
(They do not serve main courses. Drinks and/or food is not included.)
After our rest, your guide will take you to the nearest bus stop which is roughly a 1.5 km hike from the pub. We will catch the Breezer 40 bus back to Swanage town centre. The cost of this is included in the price.
(Please allow extra time for bus travel and waiting – it can be slightly delayed in the summer months.)
Once we arrive back in Swanage your guide will say farewell.

All U16s must be accompanied by an Adult.
This hike involves steep ascents and descents. Please ensure you are comfortable and able to hike this kind of terrain.
This hike is available and will run in almost all-weather conditions. Please ensure you are appropriately dressed for the weather. No refunds are provided due to weather unless we have made the decision to cancel your booking.
